Domestic Violence reports are rampant in the news.

Domestic Violence is unpredictable. It does not discriminate, and it's often hidden.

There's a lot of commentary, advocacy to raise awareness and legislature put forth. The lenient, flawed justice system empowers and enables abusers to abuse with an excuse. Since control is a form of abuse, it is disturbingly ironic that the power of abuse is in the hands of the abuser. Abusers must decide NOT to abuse and seek safer ways to channel their frustrations.

What can we do? Be good listeners. Encourage safety. Share and or use the DV Hotline Number 1-800-799-7233. Get involved in any way that YOU feel will make a healthy difference.

Pain is not love. No one should live in fear.
