Many mourn the untimely death of musician and activist Prince Rogers Nelson, affectionately known as "Prince". Leading up to his death, in the days prior, and perhaps as recent as yesterday, April 21, 2016, many women and children have met their demise as the result of Domestic Violence. Need proof? Although October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Domestic Violence is not a "seasonal" pandemic. It affects the lives of women, children, and whole families at alarming rates, almost daily! Prince was, by all accounts a musical genius. His dedication to the art of music will continue to touch, enlighten, and heal many souls. However, let's also keep the spotlight on saving as many lives as possible, especially young children who aspire to grow up to be musicians, as well.
